Sub-continental voice claiming to be from Eir Technical Support (don't think he was from Belturbet anyway) saying that my internet line had been hacked and that there were 10-20 people using it, that information was not safe on my network etc. and that I had to install some software to prevent this. I said that I did not believe that he was from Eir and that it was a scam, to which he replied that he was Eir (rather than saying "air" he said each letter) and that if I didn't believe him that I could hanf up, and that they will disconnect the line within 24 hrs if I do not comply... hung up at that point and waiting for my internet to be disconnected!
Somehow think that it is SCAM!!

A comment was deleted but it is still in search results. Why?
Google and other search engines (Bing, Yandex…) have their own memory, so they don’t display an excerpt from the site that always 100% corresponds to reality. It can take a while for the search engine to reindex the site content and display a relevant site excerpt. It generally takes weeks, occasionally it may take months.
