How does it work?
Search number
Call Insider uses a unique database, which contains more than 150 million identified phone numbers. We use more than 100 websites to recognize phone numbers.
It allows you to identify the owner of an unknown phone number easily and quickly.
Get information
Users can find other people’s rating of a phone number, interest in a number in the last year, and, if possible, also the location of a number (for landlines).
Sometimes, there are no reviews for a given phone number. If, however, the page has e.g. a thousand views, it shows that it is most likely an annoying caller.
Rate the number
Help other forum visitors by sharing your experience with this phone number. Is this number safe or annoying? Did you expect a call from this number or was it a spam call?
Your rating helps other users as well as you. Together we are fighting against telemarketing companies.
The Call Insider service has users in 34 countries all over the world
Our mission is to inform about annoying phone numbers and limit the ever growing number of marketing and spam calls, which bombard our phones daily…
Frequently Asked Questions
How long has this service been running and who is it for?
The service was created in 2011 in the Czech Republic. It is an online forum where the users can share their experience with phone numbers, both annoying (mostly telemarketing, surveys) and useful (e.g. couriers, offices). The service is for all those who want to know who a certain phone number belongs to and if it is desirable to answer a call from them.
What can the users learn about a number that is calling them?
Users can find other people’s rating of a phone number, interest in a number in the last year, and, if possible, also the location of a number (for landlines).
Who creates the database and how is the trustworthiness of the comments ensured?
The database of phone numbers and comments is created by users themselves through the website.
Comments can be added by registered users anonymously as well. Just like any other forum, it is not possible to 100% ensure the credibility of the comments. Therefore we reserve the right to delete comments or block comments for a particular number.
Every user can deactivate any comment until the moderators deal with it. Just click the Delete button in the menu found at each comment. The user is then redirected to a short form where they can explain to moderators why they believe the comment is harmful.
