Advising me my Personal Public Service (PPS) is been used online SUSPICIOUSLY & they wanted to change my PPS number and they wanted me to give them, my name and address.
These people are doing it in a way you think it's GENUINE. I was thinking after the call they explain they are SOCIAL WELFARE but they don't know how to make announcement in Irish (we are given a option from the Department of Social Welfare & Family Affairs to speak to a representative in Irish or English) and any calls come from Department of Social Welfare & Family Affairs, they always will be landline numbers never a mobile (cell) number.

My comment has disappeared or has been edited, why?
We edit and delete comments for the following reasons:

How can I report an inappropriate comment?
Every user can deactivate any comment until the moderators deal with it. Just click the Delete button in the menu found at each comment. The user is then redirected to a short form where they can explain to moderators why they believe the comment is harmful. Processing of this request usually takes about a week. Then the user is informed about how the moderators dealt with the comment.
